What’s even better than pruning your favourite apple variety?? Receiving juice from your favourite apple variety in return! Big thanks to Druce’s Juices, absolutely delicious and I had a fab day helping out in the orchard at the wonderful Ragmans Lane farm this week.

While making a small dent in all that needed doing, we compared notes on how to prune partial tip bearers such as Blenheim Orange, scampered up smaller and larger trees, extended our pole pruners to the max and appreciated the first signs of spring!

A really great day out, and lovely to be back at Ragmans which holds so many precious memories and is a an absolutely cracking place, enabling lots of talented land folk to do inspiring things. Thanks for having me!
