Keen to learn how to look after your trees properly? Join us for this pruning workshop in the hidden orchard at Purple Patch in St Werburghs, Bristol – in collaboration with The Orchard Project!
Learn the basics of maintenance pruning and caring for established fruit trees: We will cover pruning principles and methods, practice our pruning cuts and have a go at giving the orchard trees some love!
We’ll also chat about tools – how to look after them, and how to select the right tool for the job. And we’ll explore how to manage orchard habitats holistically.
There will be plenty of time for questions, and you are welcome to bring your lunch and eat it with us in the packing shed afterwards.
Whether you have a bit of experience or are a complete beginner – this is the workshop for you.
